Marching toward better relevance
They say Substack is a better model going forward. We'll see.
I want to get off some of the more problematic platforms ESPECIALLY Instagram. That useless landscape benefits no one like myself who just don’t fit into the necessary popularity content/contest that benefits no one except Instagram and Zuckerberg.

So far, I like the proverbial cut of this website’s jib - sailing onward (that’s enough nautical metaphors for one day).
I am likely going to keep Mailchimp alive for a little while but I think Substack has enough sea legs (ok one more nautical gag) to make a home for better, more relevant, and quality interactions with readers.
I’ve been making comics for over a decade. Been working in entertainment as an animator/generalist for twice as long as that and made tons of fun stuff on the way. But traction with an audience controlled by someone else who keeps moving goalposts is not my idea of a good time for anyone who actually WANTED to hear from me.
Hence - Substack.
